Croxteth Hall
Initially this was the estate of the super-rich Molyneux family, Earls of Sefton. In 1972 the estate was taken under the control of the local council after a long, global-wide search for an heir to the Earl failed to find anybody to succeed to the title.
This Grade II listed building is the jewel in the crown of Liverpool’s stately homes. Therefore it is definitely worth a visit from all fans of historical buildings. Even the kennels are Grade II listed.
Church Of Good Shepherd
This is a lovely local church led by a vicar who puts his all into community outreach. Forever engaging the locals from Croxteth and Norris Green, the church has a loyal congregation who attend a number of regular events at the church, not services only. There are community attractions for everyone, whatever age.
Croxteth Country Park
Croxteth Country Park is home to the beautiful Croxteth Hall (see above). Here you will find acres of landscaped gardens, wonderful pathway walks, Mull Wood that is more than 200 acres in size and part of Croxteth’s local nature reserve, Croxteth Home Farm and the mind-blowing Victorian walled garden.
Croxteth has places that are worth experiencing. You will find Childwall, Allerton, Stockport and Warrington not too far away. You can get to any of them quickly and cheaply with our minibus and coach hire.
