St Stephen Church
Built from local sandstone in the late 19th century, this church once dominated the area with its tower visible from many miles away before urbanisation led to Gateacre being swallowed up by developments.
Once inside you can marvel at the wonderful design details such as the amazing stained glass windows made by the designer William Morris.
